The South Dorset Hunt country is some of the most diverse stretching from Dorchester to Studland and Glanvilles Wootton to the Jurassic coast cliff tops.

The vale to the north is renowned for being some of the toughest to cross and with no less than twenty seven new hedges put in last season there are plenty of challenges to be had for experienced hands, however there is always a way round for those wishing to do so. Hunting in our vale country is on Tuesdays from November until the beginning of February.

The southern edge of our country takes in the Jurassic cliff tops and stretches out to Studland on the Isle of Purbeck providing not only wonderful heathland hunting but breath taking views. The country is perhaps easier to cross than the vale but still provides tremendous fast sport.

In between our northern vale and southern heathland we are blessed with stunning hills and valleys to cross providing fun for all.
